Work, bordom and rock'n'roll

by TwistedPsycho @ 31/03/2006 - 01:15:45

Yet another boring day at work.

Shift: 1730 - 0130 As Ordered
Food Eaten: A chinese chicken and mushroom in sauce thing with rice, a huge Tuna Roll from Gregg's, an iced ring donut and two bars of chocolate.

The first question I know someone will ask it what is "As Ordered", well unless you are from the railway community or a "spotter" in which you already know... A/O means I sit around a train depot all evening until something goes wrong, or someone wants a favour. Not bad considering I am basically being paid to play the fruit machine, watch telly and eat!

Did have a skirmish out to Southampton, looking at the finest football ground in the Coca-Cola league Division 1 (ooopppps am I being premature here?) that killed three hours, then came home.

Note to self: Must ensure train works before taking it out.... nothing more fun than standing in the rain in the middle of no-where trying to work out why the doors do not work!

A quick scan through the e-mail only shows one interesting thing, a welcome from Princess-Coppelia to the blog.co.uk thing. Shes too cute to be single and too cute to be interested in someone like me :) oh I forgot.... I am already taken. :)

Not much else to report really.... but at 1am things are a little slow.

The one news item to catch my eye today was about taking mobile phones to the grave and how more and more people want to be buried with their mobile phones. Surely this risks harming the enviornment when coffins (and people) start to become at one with nature? One South African company is even putting spare batteries in just in case your runs out! You are joking!

Maybe they should team up with the crators of the new Biodegradable Sunflower Phone which apparently should even grow a sunflower when it degrades in the soil. My question is can they make one that will sprout into a money tree!!

Oh well Bed Time! See you all soon!

Night!

The First Post

by TwistedPsycho @ 30/03/2006 - 15:45:50

Everyone has got to start somewhere, my somewhere is here, today, with TMF playing in the background, the clock ticking over towards another shift at work, and my eyes slowly closing!

So for those of you that are reading this, you may wonder who or what I am!

I am a member of the South West Trains guards team. Its a job I enjoy, talking to the punters, throwing off the scroats and generally maintaining law and order. Its a job I would never want to change, and the money that it offers keeps me generally well.

I am happily taken , but at the moment she still lives with her parents 50 miles away while she tries to find a job that allows her to move in. My bachelor pad is my retreat and is home to my internet connection!

In the fantasy world I have many persona's. The most prominent of these is with the Counter-Stike clan known as DumBclan where as [DumB]TwistedPsycho I am a member of a busy community, watching for cheaters and providing help for our newer players across 10 UK-based Counter-Strike servers offering mods (additional coding providing a new style of gameplay) such as Ultimate WarCraft (UWC3) and WarCraft Frozen Throne (WC3FT). Thanks [DumB]Phalanx for pointing out the fact I can not even name the mods we host properly :) CS players are always welcome to join us for a game, please visit http://www.dumbclan.co.uk/ for more details.

I am also a Tournament Director for Cases Ladders. Known as CardiffCroupier, I host Pool tournaments on Cases own creation called Cases OnLine (http://play.igl.net) where you can play various games in a league format and the software does all the work for you! Posting all you wins and losses and even telling you our current rank!

Finally I am also a player of BattleField2. Under the online guise of DumBTwistedPsycho, I take great pride in shooting people online after a hard day in the office.

Well thats pretty much me. Hopefully I will post as often as I can on this blog, intending to add my comments on the days events, things in my real-life and things within my online persona's.
