What a boring first day back at work!

by TwistedPsycho @ 19/02/2007 - 02:12:41

Not a lot happened at work. I was expecting to come back after a week off to fighting and chaos as is the norm at the depot these days, and there was nothing!

Its been a mad week off really. I have not actually had a day at home sat down alone doing anything constructive. This week I have been in the studio trying to fix the CD deck which my boss there has now handed over to someone who thinks they can repair it.... good luck. I have also been to a well known optician's to do a mystery shopping visit. I got two free pairs of glasses out of it, so I am not complaining!

Also been a naughty boy and done lots of drinking and gambling. I really do have to stop this, as I am spending more than I can afford. I was doing a diary on a GamCare website about beating the fruit-machine (by not gambing on them) but I have failed miserably yet again. more money down the drain, that could have been better spent!

I even managed to get my mother a little something for her birthday.... shame she already had one of the CDs I had bought her, so I put that aside for someone else and now have to go looking for something else. My sisters birthday is also coming up this Friday, so I have to shop for her as well.

I have to go into the studio tomorrow to replace two motherboard batteries. When the computers shut down (for no apparent reason, maybe they are overheating) then the clocks are losing time, and the computer playout software we have on it locks up, so we have to ask for an unlock code from the software designers.... a great security feautre NOT.

I also have to head out to the vets and pick up some industrial strength flea killer for my cats.... One of the seems to have an allergy to them, so you never have a days peace once a rogue super-flea gets under his skin... my poor baby.

Oh well, the battery on my latop is starting to blink so its time for me to book off.... Keep On Rocking!
