Its the first day of the month it is hoped summer comes. Not a lot of summer cheer though as both One Railway and the Underground are both threatening to grind London to a halt!
But one paper reports today that happyness only costs 30 quid a day. Abbey have researc that holidays cost around 3k a year, suggesting that they either surveyed their rich customers or those taking the only holiday in 10 year to create that average.
The RSPCA this week has released figures on cruelty including a story about a starting dog forced to eat its dead companions. As much as a dog may not necessarily be as intelligent as a human, I wonder if dogs think in a similar way.. it way not ever think the same way again.
A car salesman in the States has turned himself in after having the last of arguments with two of his employees. The bloke had taken the last request for a pay rise from the Lithuanians and shot them both.
Cola drinkers can get healthier as Coke releases yet another brand. Diet Coke Plus will have added VitC with a 350ml bottle offering 52% of the RDA. I wonder how much more it will cost than a 330can?
